What you get to do every single day
- Document all customer payments to the right reports
- Correctly process bankruptcy filings when received
- Head all billing and reporting activities in response to
deadlines
- Comply with all Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act rules and
regulations
- Handle inbound and outbound collections calls and
correspondence
- Pinpoint delinquent customer accounts through various means,
including skip-tracing, phone contact, written correspondence, and
make arrangements for payment
- Maintain and update customer files to ensure data integrity
- Ensure payments are processed
- Act as a company representative in upholding quality customer
service and a positive company image by resolving customer account
inquiries- Earlier experience working with various types of
accounting software desired
- AA or BS/BA in Accounting preferred
- Accounts Receivable (AR) experience preferred
- Commercial collections experience preferred
- Big Box Retail experience highly desired
- Solid understanding of commercial collections
- Adeptness in Web Portals
- Deep understanding of commercial collections
- Excellent verbal, written, and social skills
- Ability to survey and make decisions regarding customer
accounts
- 3+ years of prior high volume collections experience
