Job Description:

Are you interested in working for a dynamic and fast-growing environment?We have an immediate need for a Controller for a large, well established company.

Responsibilities:

Month end closing

Prepares reports on a regular basis that include (daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual) financial statements, cost reports, budgeting, forecasting reports, trend analysis and presents findings and recommendations to top management

Review bank reconciliation, loan schedules, management fees, etc

Ensure the general ledger is kept in accordance with GAAP

Prepare monthly GAAP financial statements for management on a timely basis

Assist the Director of Finance in preparing the annual corporate budgets

Assist with preparation of quarterly Board reports

GAAP research

Oversee external audit requirements

Review, maintain and improve current internal control systems, policies and procedures

Monitoring expenses and preparation of budgets for various departments

KPI reporting to executive level management

Review of general ledger account activity

Work with other departments to analyze spend and cost drivers

Review inventory costing

Job cost accounting

Supervise AR and AP personnel

Qualifications:

Strong organizational and management skills.

Ability to see the big picture while focusing on the process and procedures necessary to produce deliverables.

Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in work product.

Ability to meet and establish deadlines.

Flexibility and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Intermediate to advanced applications software expertise (Excel and accounting software).

Corporate accounting experience, including cost accounting, establishing reserves and estimates.

Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player.

International Accounting, a plus

Consolidation Accounting, a plus

Strong analytical abilities with good business acumen

Excellent financial statement presentation skills

Education

Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting or Finance / CPA / Big 4
