Certificated Transfer Requests are for San Diego Unified School District Certificated Monthly Employees TRANSFER OPPORTUNITIES : The Certificated Transfer Request application is only available for current monthly Permanent and Probationary San Diego Unified School District certificated non-management employees . This application is to request a voluntary transfer to another school site outside of Post and Bid. A transfer is a voluntary change of an assignment from one site to another site. Human Resources maintains lists for job titles/classifications of individuals who meet the transfer criteria. If you are a substitute hourly employee, you are not eligible for a transfer. Please exit out of this application, review the District's job opportunities page, and apply for open positions that you are interested in. Approved transfer requests through this posting will remain active from the date the application is submitted through June 30, 2026. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must be a current monthly Permanent or Probationary San Diego Unified School District certificated non-management employee. APPLICATION INFORMATION: Transfer Application Process Online transfer application. A completed online transfer application must be submitted electronically. Paper applications are not accepted. Human Resources will review the transfer application and determine eligibility for the position for which you submitted a request for transfer. The District covers a large portion of San Diego County. Refer to the District Area Map at this Link and make sure to identify any and all specific area(s) you are interested in working in. When completing your application you will need to identify the specific job title and school site(s) you wish to be considered for a transfer. If approved, you will receive an email notification with your application status and expiration date of the transfer request. Human Resources will not notify employees when the transfer request expires. To remain on the transfer list for another time period, you must submit another transfer application. Only one transfer application can be submitted per posting period.
