A company is looking for a Freelance Digital PR Specialist in
the cannabis industry.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct targeted media outreach to secure press from
cannabis-friendly outlets with high domain authority
Build and maintain relationships with key reporters and editors in
cannabis, lifestyle, and consumer media
Create a comprehensive tracking system for outreach, backlinks, and
the value of placements
Required Qualifications
2+ years of digital PR experience, preferably with DTC e-commerce
or cannabis brands
Experience with PR platforms such as Prowly or Muck Rack
Ability to craft compelling pitches and subject lines
Self-starter, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced freelance
role
Bonus points for existing relationships with cannabis publishers or
journalists
