Job Description Job Description Job Summary: The Labeling Documentation Specialist is responsible for creating new entries and maintaining large database of control documents related to all aspects of medical device labeling. This position is also serves as a team contact working with outside departments including Marketing, and Operations. 3 Month Contract covering LOA, possible extension Pay: Up to $35 BOE Duties & Responsibilities: Develop and manage label documentation to accurately convey product information and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Incorporate Visual Basic Scripts and database connections within label software to facilitate the generation of variable data fields for labels. Create, update, and maintain labeling documents as part of engineering packaging drawings. Troubleshoot printer and barcode scanner issues with manufacturing teams to maintain operational efficiency. Support cost reduction projects. Perform additional duties or special projects as assigned, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the labeling department and organization-wide. Minimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience: Minimum Qualifications: Working knowledge of latest version of AutoCAD and/or Solidworks Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator; Experience in a document control / engineering setting Experience with documentation approval systems; (Agile) Must be highly PC literate Good communications skills/ ability to work with multiple departments Preferred Qualifications: 3 to 5 years developing and managing packaging documentation for a medical/technology company; (or another regulated products industry) Portfolio of various packaging/labeling projects; Expertise in Adobe Illustrator, and a working knowledge of Photoshop; Experience with Bartender (barcode label software) Expert in AutoCAD or Solidworks; Expert with Agile database and documentation system Advanced PC experience including Apple/Mac; Experience with just-in-time package label printing; Experience managing package or label development with outside vendors; Education: High School Diploma or GED Certificate and Certified Training in CAD Drafting AutoCad or Solidworks is required. A.A. in packaging design or related field is preferred. B.S. Degree in packaging design or related field is desirable.
