Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A specialized
opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
with expertise in educational settings, focusing on elementary
grades within a dynamic school environment. This full-time position
offers the chance to make a significant impact working with PreK
through 8th-grade students, primarily at 1-2 school sites, with a
blend of virtual service delivery and necessary in-person
assessments. Key Responsibilities: Deliver push-in and push-out
speech-language services, adapting strategies to support students
on the autism spectrum, nonverbal children, and those exhibiting
severe behaviors. Conduct virtual therapy sessions and provide
in-person assessments, excluding the use of VOCO devices. Utilize
Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) techniques
effectively to facilitate communication. Manage documentation and
billing through the SEIS system. Support students in educational
development consistent with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
Qualifications and Experience: Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
credential (SLP-CCC) with no exceptions or waivers. Experience
working with elementary students, particularly in PreK-8 settings.
Proficient in AAC and familiar with working with severe behavioral
challenges. Comfortable and adept at virtual therapy service
provision combined with in-person evaluation demands. Knowledge of
SEIS platform for service and billing purposes. Location and Work
Environment:This travel position is based in Huntington Beach, CA,
with proximity to Compton, Long Beach, Anaheim, and San Clemente.
It offers engagement in a vibrant school community while delivering
