  • Own the entire customer experience across multiple products/services. Evaluate and challenge existing status quo to identify new ways to improve processes and continually elevate the customer experience
  • Coach, mentor, and create goals for sales representatives
  • Manage and prospect new clients
  • Develop a long-term and thorough account penetration process, maintaining AIS as the predominant go to partner in our coverage area. Toughest Parts of the Job:
  • Learn multiple disciplines to be able to sell various products (Copiers/Printers, Telecom, and Managed IT Services)

  • Balance the multiple demands and competing priorities of the position
  • Turn rejection into opportunitiesJob Functions: The Sales Manager is a critical member of our sales team responsible for exemplifying our culture, managing clients, and developing sales representatives.Daily tasks include but not limited to:
  • Develop and execute annual business plans and budgets for all product lines related to the portfolio
  • Establish and manage a realistically aggressive performance goal for each sales rep by clearly identifying their opportunities and responsibilities.
  • Manage profitability and sales department expenses in accordance with the annual plan
  • Motivate the entire sales team for maximum results and participation
  • Review accurate sales forecasts with Vice President of Sales on a weekly basis
  • Analyze market growth areas and develop plan to ensure Pipeline growth and Key account penetration
  • Establish and maintain close relationships at a high level within top accounts
  • Advocate sales training by working as a management team to ensure implementation and continual improvement of training programs
  • Work as a management team to develop a weekly cadence of high quality meetings which deliver critical information, guidance and improve skill levels.
  • Interview sales candidates to ensure a strong continual bench
  • Partnering with the Vice President, develop and implement sales compensation plans for the sales team that provide incentive for productivity and quota achievement
  • Ensure high usage of the sales CRM (SalesForce) while constantly monitoring for quality and thoroughness
  • Accompany sales reps on high level sales calls with a concentration on building skill level, acting as a coach and mentor to the Rep.
  • Other duties as assignedWorking Conditions:
    • General working hours are Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm with limited absences/tardiness. Additional hours as required to complete objectives. Attend occasional networking events, webinars, and training
    • Travel as needed to support AIS' office locations, customers, and industry events
    • Deliver on Company mission, vision, and core values

        • 4+ years strong track record managing High Tech, IT, or Office Equipment sales team
        • History of job stability
        • Must be able to travel between offices in NV and CA
        • Ability to accurately set targets and design growth plans
        • Ability to interface at the highest levels at a customer site
        • Strong analytical skills
        • Adept with spreadsheets and analysis tools
        • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
        • Know and demonstrate consultative selling skillsBehavioral Characteristics:
