Job Description:
Boston Retail Solutions is the leading provider of modular
barricades, large format graphics, graphic installation, and
various facilities maintenance services. We provide environmentally
friendly solutions to retailers, mall developers, airports, hotels,
contractors, and more!We are currently seeking a -General Manager
-based at our Temecula, CA Service Center. -Position starting
salary will depend upon experience level.Role and
Responsibilities:The General Manager is responsible for all
day-to-day operations within the service center by coordinating
between project managers, installers, and print operations.
responsible for the supervision of a team that installs, services,
and repairs barricades and/or graphics.--- Manage employees on
daily basis and provide guidance whenever needed--- Understands
annual budget, re-projection, and monthly projections. operates
under these budgetary guidelines--- Generates sales revenue by
adding new customers as well as upselling current customers---
Performs semi-skilled tasks in connection with installation,
teardown, and modifications of barricade and graphics--- Surveys
future job sites and provides field measurements--- Conducts field
inventory bi-annually--- Execute and ensure that all administrative
duties, including processing and completing work orders, employee
timesheets, and new hire paperwork is completed timely and
accurately--- Hire, train, and motivate all new personnel with a
focus on maintaining a high level of craftsmanship and safety---
Ensures that all new employees receive orientation, introduction to
company field procedures, and safety training.--- Reviews and signs
off on all human resources/payroll requests and conducts annual
reviews for field employees--- Responsible for care, inventory, and
allocation of tools, uniforms, and materials provided to
employees--- Responsible for overall care and cleanliness of field
fleet vehicles maintenance and expense logs--- Facilitate strong
relationships with clients by engaging in proactive communication
and providing exceptional customer service--- Manage requirements
of all jobs to ensure proper execution--- Implement safety and
training programs for employees, including OSHA and dot training---
Scheduling of work workforce to ensure efficiency and controlling
expenses--- Purchase and inventory all stock items, building
materials, and cleaning supplies in order to achieve at or below
the monthly budget--- Manage the repair, cleaning, and inventory
control of all barricade panels and accompanying hardware---
Protect and secure all company assets on a daily
basisQualifications and Education requirements:--- Excellent
communication skills, both verbal and written--- Highly organized
with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple
projects with urgent deadlines and flexible priorities--- Excellent
time management and problem-solving skills--- Ability to read
construction blueprints and store elevation drawings--- Ability to
operate current software programs--- Ability to take instruction
and use pre-established guidelines to perform functions of the job
as well as experience and judgment to accomplish the completion of
the job--- Degree in business, project management, or building
construction technology or similar 3-5 years working experience in
the field of retail or commercial constructionEmployees are
