Job DescriptionVP Sales - RemoteSummary:The VP of Sales (VPS) is responsible for developing and managing a sales team to deliver new logo bookings in the PT environment within their defined region. This is a quota carrying position with responsibility to drive annualized revenue across the product lines offered by Raintree, including but not limited to EHR/PM Software, Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), BI and third-party partner products. The VPS role focuses on EMR/PM software and RCM business generation from new customer acquisition.Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a sales team to achieve assigned monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets while working as part of a team
  • Recruitment, hiring and training of top-level sales professionals
  • Coach sales individuals on territory management, solution selling and product knowledge
  • Forecast bookings accurately and regularly
  • Hold sales team accountable for expectations
  • Provide useful feedback to marketing group on lead quality
  • Manage current quarter business and subsequent quarters' pipeline proactively and consistently
  • Support sales team in driving the sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closure
  • Implement business and marketing initiatives to drive quota achievement
  • Work with team to develop and maintain key account plans that identify opportunities to deliver value, including strategic motivators, main stakeholders, buying processes, and forecasted sales
  • Articulate and evangelize the vision and positioning of the company and its solutions to differentiate our capabilities to clients
  • Develop and maintain a high level of domain and competitive knowledge on industries and products to leverage in the sales cycle
  • Effectively demonstrate products and services
  • Provide feedback to leadership and cross functional teams related to the market and competitor environment
  • Participate in annual budget process
  • Work cross functionally to drive overall business objectives
  • Travel within assigned territory and/or for industry events Experience & Background
    • At least five years of documented success in leading a sales organization in the healthcare practice management and electronic health record software, revenue cycle management, billing, and/or other healthcare information systems and services
    • Deep knowledge of EHR, PM, other healthcare clinical applications and/or RCM experience
    • Robust knowledge of the healthcare IT industry
    • Physical Therapy experience preferred
    • Demonstrated relationship building skills that extend to internal team members in pre- and post-sales
    • Ability to quickly understand products and services and effectively identify how they can provide value to a prospective customer
    • Strong negotiating skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • General computer proficiency, including working knowledge of Google Suite, Microsoft Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) and Salesforce.comEducation:
