We need a road warrior sales expert with a track record of success closing sales and finding new customers in established markets for Plumbing Products.Are you creative, charismatic, expert in these markets? Have you always wanted to travel and see more of the United States?We are a medium sized team in need of an external expert. We are financially stable and supported by the resources of a medium-sized multinational parent company.Our home base is located out of Corona, CA and travel will be expected roughly two weeks out of the month to your assigned territories throughout beautiful cities in the USA. Key Responsibilities Travel, at least 50%, is required to meet with engineers, municipalities, contractors, sales representatives, and distributors. Establish and cultivate relationships with outside sales representatives. Develop customer relationships and implement strategies to create profitable growth in the wholesale plumbing supply chain of distribution. Follow up with new leads and referrals resulting from field activity. Prepares periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales and areas of proposed client base expansion. Maintain and expand relationships with current customers. Develop, communicate, and execute a sales plan to grow existing and new accounts. Represent company at trade associations and buying group meetings to promote the company and its' products. Strive to have the Company's Products as the baseline for written specifications. Stay informed of market and industry trends. Our Team We're a medium-sized, family owned company. We believe in rewarding employees who can move the sales needle for us. You will report to and receive mentoring from the company General Manager and operate with considerable independence. We Need Your Experience to Include Sales Experience (5 years). Plumbing or related industry experience is required. Sales Representative Management (3 years). Proven track record of managing, motivating, and holding independent sales reps accountable. Solid written, oral and presentation skills. Proficiency using spreadsheets, word processing, and web conferencing platforms. ClosingSales Deals. You Should Bring A history of consistently achieving sales and profit goals. Industry awareness - market and competitive landscape. Experience winning new business by targeting and developing relationships with new prospects. Strong relationship builder both internally across functional departments and externally with customers. A desire to drive sales and work effectively as part of a team. A knowledge of plumbing products. Dedication to consistently conduct yourself in a manner consistent with the company culture.
