A Director of Product Management is a hands-on key contributor to
RHMSO's IT Administration and Product Development. They will act as
an entrepreneur, taking ownership of new ideas and driving the
definition, requirements, and delivery of technical products and
processes. They will be responsible for contributing to the
planning, execution, and delivery of products and processes that
drive operational efficiency and outstanding patient experience.
They champion effective product discussions and distill clear
requirements from diverse sets of patients, vendors, physician
leadership, and internal stakeholders. They are well organized,
analytical, and collaborative by nature. They can effectively
engage and communicate with business owners to understand executive
priorities and strategic KPIs, aligning a product roadmap that
delivers value to meet those objectives.
Essential Job Duties:

- Develop product concepts: Identify product gaps and generate
new ideas; identify stakeholder needs, pain points, use cases,
trends, and related services to help build a roadmap to evaluate
and improve patient experience, improve market share, and drive
growth
- Develop product roadmaps: Translate product vision and strategy
into detailed requirement documents and prototypes
- Define product strategies: Identify risks and create product
roadmaps for consistent messaging across teams
- Lead end-to-end product lifecycle: Design and build proof of
concepts based on common stakeholder use cases to evaluate the
end-to-end experience. Own the full product development lifecycle,
including scoping, design, data collection and analysis, and
present a comprehensive written narrative of insights and
recommendations to senior leaders to drive improvements
- Product delivery & execution: Responsible for working with
different stakeholders across the enterprise, to take the product
from ideation to production
- Collaborate with stakeholders: Work with internal stakeholders
(e.g., operations, clinical, marketing, data analytics, finance) to
execute studies and work cross-functionally with peers/colleagues
globally to support training, best practices, and shared
opportunities
- Manage ambiguity: Able to work in a complex, matrixed
environment. Independently take steps necessary to understand
complex businesses, stakeholder needs, and technologies and across
a variety of customer personas and product categories to define the
product
- Data driven decisions: Business analysis, including financial
and data modeling - market segment analysis, business case,
forecasting; continuously evaluate metrics to ensure all activities
are in line with overall product strategy
- Design and simplify methodologies: Plan, design, and develop a
portfolio of methodologies, tools, and systems for data collection
and data analysis. Continuously innovate and improve processes to
optimize efficiencies
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, clinical field, or
equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of Product Management experience with managing
successful product definition, product execution, market analysis,
business case development, prototyping, launch, go-to-market
strategy, and post-launch roadmap
- 5+ years of working backwards from the customer problem or
opportunity identify customer needs, pain points, use cases,
trends, and related services to help build a product
roadmap
- Experience with end-to-end product delivery, including feature
delivery and tradeoffs (prioritization) and contributing to
operational & technology strategy discussions
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (e.g.,
operations, marketing, finance, clinical, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a Business, Healthcare, Computer Science,
Engineering, Mathematics field or equivalent practical
experience
- 7+ years Product management experience
- 3+ years of healthcare experience
- Experience dealing with complex products and technologies.
Ability to independently take steps to define customer use cases
across a variety of customer personas and product categories to
produce meaningful insights
- Demonstrated experience in product management or related
disciplines within the Health Care domain
- Demonstratable experience in product management in technology,
such as provider / payer technology, cloud computing, data science,
and applied machine learning
- Excellent interpersonal skills with experience working with and
influencing executive level leaders
