ResponsibilitiesWorking under the direction of the RN/C harge Nurse, the LVN provides nursing care within his/her scope of practice following unit specificstandards of care and the policies and procedures of C orona Regional Medical C enter.QualificationsMINIMUM ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCEMinimum of six months experience within the past two years working in a general acute care facility or an acquired equivalentcompetency appropriate to the type of subacute patient the facility provides care for.MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EDUCATIONSuccessful completion of a ventilator/tacheostomy skills competency is required within the first seven (7) working days during unitorientation and annually thereafter.REQUIRED LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONSCurrent CA LVN license required.Current BLS (CPR) required.Current blood withdrawal certification required.EEO StatementAll UHS subsidiaries are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates.
