Job Description:
A company is looking for a Utilization Specialty Therapist.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform detailed review of therapy service requests based on
evidence-based practice and organizational policies
Refer members to case management as needed and provide clinical
recommendations for adverse therapy determinations
Provide clinical expertise to therapy providers, support
multi-functional areas, and assist with training and network
management
Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in area of specialty therapy or equivalent
experience
3+ years of experience providing therapy services in healthcare or
home health settings
Current state license in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or
Speech-Language Therapy
Speech-Language Therapists must have an active Certificate of
Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing
Association
Candidate must reside in TX
