For more on why you should join EMA, please visit us at www.ema.us.Responsibilities:- Provide emergency medical care to patients in the emergency department- Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries- Perform medical procedures such as suturing, wound care, and splinting- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as X-rays and laboratory tests- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality- Stay up-to-date with current medical research and advancements in emergency medicineQualifications:- Medical degree from an accredited institution- Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine- Valid medical license to practice in the state- Experience working in a hospital emergency department- Strong clinical skills and ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members- Knowledge of public health practices and family planning methodsWe offer competitive compensation and benefits packages.
