everyone's journeys better.Reporting to the Specialist, Health &
Safety will support and monitor the Environmental, Health, and
Safety program, focusing on prevention, control of occupational
injuries and illnesses, and environmental compliance. A key focus
will be on exterior safety procedures to ensure all Gate Gourmet
protocols meet customer requirements.Annual Hiring Range: $65,000 -

- Employee discountsMain Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct safety training programs in collaboration with Safety
Managers, targeting all employees, with special focus on
Transportation Department training.
- Manage the training matrix for the unit.
- Review and update transportation training and manuals to ensure
compliance.
- Investigate and document all accidents and injuries, and assist
in developing corrective actions.
- Communicate prevention steps via Safety Alerts, Acknowledgment
Forms, and Briefings.
- Liaise with clients on safety issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures, and
audits.
- Support incident investigations and reporting.
- Promote safety awareness through PRIDE and SQUAD teams.
- Work towards full OSHA compliance.
- Participate in meetings and briefings.
- Maintain CDL files when applicable.
- Monitor and improve safety compliance.Qualifications:Education:
Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field.Work Experience:
Minimum of 3 years in safety and/or risk management, preferably in
airline, food processing, or distribution environments.Technical
Skills: Knowledge of OSHA, EPA regulations; proficiency in MS
Office; proactive and solution-oriented; analytical; credible in
leading change; high integrity.Language / Communication Skills:
Excellent presentation and training abilities.Job Dimensions:
