Registered Nurse (RN) – Interventional Radiology We are seeking an
experienced Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (IR RN) for a
13-week contract assignment on the day shift. Position Details: -
Shift: Days - Start Time: 6:30 AM - Shift Length: 10-hour shifts -
Contract Length: 13 weeks Unit Details: - Primary assignment in
Inpatient Interventional Radiology - May float to other radiology
nursing areas as needed Job Description: The Interventional
Radiology Registered Nurse provides nursing care to patients
undergoing minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic
procedures. The IR RN is responsible for pre-procedure assessments,
procedural support, monitoring patients during sedation,
post-procedure recovery, and patient education. This role requires
close collaboration with physicians, technologists, and the
interdisciplinary healthcare team while ensuring patient safety,
accurate documentation, and compliance with hospital policies and
standards of care. Requirements: - Minimum 2 years of
Interventional Radiology nursing experience - Experience using EPIC
EMR - Prior experience with procedural sedation and patient
recovery - Current California RN license (issued by the CA Board of
Registered Nursing) - CPR certification - ACLS certification - PALS
