be considered. Deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care in
the operating room setting, focusing on individualized,
patient-centered care that promotes positive health outcomes. This
contract opportunity is based in San Diego, CA, and requires a
Registered Nurse with expertise in operating room procedures and
patient advocacy. Key Responsibilities: - Provide safe, therapeutic
nursing care through thorough assessment, planning, implementation,
and evaluation tailored to each patient. - Collaborate with
patients, families, and healthcare team members to develop and
adjust care plans that meet holistic and individualized goals. -
Manage complex and high-risk clinical situations by seeking
additional resources or consultation as needed. - Serve as a
patient and family advocate, ensuring clear communication and
involvement in decision-making processes. - Document patient
assessments, care plans, and responses accurately in compliance
with established guidelines and protocols. - Delegate nursing tasks
appropriately within team members scopes of practice. - Coordinate
care activities with interdisciplinary teams to support patient
progress and optimize workflow. Desired Experience and
Qualifications: - Current RN licensure with experience in operating
room nursing. - Proficient in nursing assessment, care planning,
interventions, and evaluation. - Ability to manage complex clinical
scenarios and make sound nursing decisions. - Strong communication
skills and a collaborative approach to patient care. - Knowledge of
adult learning principles to effectively support patient and family
education. - Commitment to patient advocacy and promoting quality
