LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN Wound Care for a travel nursing job in Newport Beach, California. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Wound Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Serves as the clinical resource for wound, ostomy, continence disorders, skin breakdown, and fistula management. Provides direct patient care, education, and support to staff and families. Responsibilities: - Assess and manage acute and chronic wounds - Evaluate and treat pressure injuries (Stage 3 and above) - Manage and report hospital-acquired pressure injuries (HAPI) - Provide pre- and post-operative ostomy education - Deliver bedside teaching and staff in-services - Support evaluation of wound and skin care products - Promote infection control and patient safety practices - Assist hospital initiatives to reduce HAPIs Requirements: - Minimum 4 years of clinical experience - BSN required - Active California RN license (in good standing) - Wound & Ostomy Certification required - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Knowledge of infection control and patient safety - Ability to work with wound care technology and equipment - Travel may be required Preferred: - 2 years of wound and ostomy care experience About LanceSoft Established in 2000, LanceSoft is a Certified MBE and Woman-Owned organization.
