Physical Therapist Location: Brawley, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,526 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/13/2026 About the Position Job Title: Physical Therapist Profession: Therapy/Rehabilitation Specialty: Outpatient Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 17:30) Experience: Minimum of 2 years preferred License: Valid state license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Experience with charting systems, specifically Cerner Description: Support outpatient services as well as some acute care. Work 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week. Previous charge experience is preferred. Patient ratio experience is required. Travel experience is required. Skills in wound care, lobe clearance techniques, and lymphedema management are essential. Knowledge in McKenzie techniques, pelvic floor training, and postpartum care is important. Experience in cardiopulmonary, geriatrics, neurology, oncology, orthopedics, pediatrics, sports medicine, and women's health is beneficial. Provide care in an outpatient clinic setting. Utilize adaptive devices and perform AROM/AAROM/PROM exercises as needed. Assess pain and monitor vital signs regularly. Conduct patient evaluations and develop long-term and short-term goals. Manage a diverse patient population, including adolescents, infants, adults, and geriatrics. Handle a variety of diagnoses including general medical, neuro, orthopedic, and cardiopulmonary conditions. Maintain skin integrity and perform strength testing. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Adhere to safety and injury prevention protocols. Engage in patient and family education to promote understanding of conditions and treatments. Maintain documentation and charting as mandated by the facility.
