Someone who is up for the challenge to capture birds in commercial spaces and be one of the first technicians in our California market!Being a Meridian Bird Removal technician is a great fit for retirees, veterans, firefighters, artists, animal lovers, photographers, and being self-employed-to name a few!Meridian Bird Removal provides innovative bird removal and management services for big-box retailers, supermarkets, and distribution centers. Meridian is a dynamic, high-growth company that delivers guaranteed results for our customers. Our specialties include our trademarked Bird-N-Free Live Capture System, Operational Process Analysis, and Facility Assessment.Position Summary:

  • 3-full day schedule of stand-by availability, each week (at least two consecutive days)
  • Dispatched from your home.
  • Extensive travel.
  • Drive your personal vehicle to a job site with mileage reimbursement (rental car for extensive travel).
  • Willing to lodge when needed.
  • Work overnight as needed.
  • Willing to travel on airplanes as needed.
  • Work in diverse settings ranging from small grocery stores to large distribution centers.
  • Address health and food safety issues created by birds in commercial spaces.
  • Training provided on our patented capture process.
  • Meridian supplies all the gear, which easily fits in a standard-size car.Basic Qualifications:
    • High school diploma or GED.
    • Valid driver's license.
    • Insured reliable vehicle.
    • At least 18 years old.
    • Lives around the Los Angeles area.Position Requirements:

      • Enjoys traveling, hitting the road, and embracing new adventures.

          • Our part-time technicians start at $17 per hour with the opportunity to earn more as they reach company and personal goals. A monthly bonus is available when goals are met.

            • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
            • Stand, walk and sit for prolonged periods of time.
            • Work exposed to outside temperatures.
            • Frequent bending, kneeling and reaching.
