Job Description:
Growing manufacturing company in Corona has immediate opening
for an experienced Electrician on 2nd shift! This is a full time,
permanent position with great benefits!Working Hours: -5 PM - 1:30
AM M-F. -Must be able to train on day shift for the first few weeks
(Training hours will be -6 AM - 2:30 PM).Pay:$25-35 per hour
depending on experience and skill level.Duties will involve
facilities -maintenance and basic electrical - functions
including:
- Replacing light bulbs, light ballast, circuit breaker,
proximity sensor, photo sensor, etc.
- Identify bad and faulty components (relays, fuses, sensors,
contactors, motors) -
- Using your own knowledge, troubleshoot and repair electrical
breakdowns without support
- Maintain in good order all spare parts to assigned parts
cabinets
- Find spare parts in the CMMS system
- Able to perform monthly, quarterly, and annual PMs and assigned
project workRequirements:
- Basic electrical functions such as replacing a light bulb,
light ballast, circuit breaker, proximity sensor, photo
sensor,
- Identify bad and faulty components such as relays, fuses,
sensors, contactors, motors.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical breakdowns with no
support,
- Understand NPN and PNP logic, Normally Close-Normally Open
logic, sinking vs sourcing,
- Understand more complex devices such as thermocouples, RTDs,
load cells, level sensors, tachometer, and resolvers.
- Perform all general electrical functions without support.
- Understand how individual components work and how their
function in a system.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical breakdowns with little
support, able to support production when scheduled to be
alone.
- Knowledge how to connect live to all PLCs, understand how to
follow PLC logic and relate it to field devices.
- Able to identify touchscreen status and use the information
provided to speed up the troubleshooting process.
- Able to make small successful changes in the PLC logic,
- Understand how to force individual devices safely and how to
recover to previous PLC files.
- Able to make small changes in the touchscreen program
- Understand Servo functionality and able to resolve faults
displayed in the servo controller.
- Understand resolver functions within the servo controller.
- Able to replace a VFD to include all required parameters.
- Able to identify issues with the robots whether the issue is
mechanical, electrical or parameters.
- Able to successfully replace and re-program a servo
controller.
- Understand VFD parameters and able to make VFD parameter
changes to fine tune a process.
- Able to identify bad components and replace them in the Robot
controls.
- Able to follow daily and weekly PMs by reading the PM
tasks.
- Able to enter data into own PMs and work orders in the CMMS
system.
- Able to identify bad components on the equipment.
- Maintain in good order all spare parts to assigned parts
cabinets
- Able to find spare parts in the CMMS system. Able to perform
monthly, quarterly, and annual PMs and assigned project work.
- -Able to identify what parts are needed to complete the
task.
- Able to lead others with assigned annual PMs, special projects,
and lead safely other personnel such as maintenance
assistants.
- Able to teach anyone on this category, Able to draw and design
sketches to accomplish small projects.
- Able to put together what parts and tools are needed for small
