Position Summary
The Deployment Planner will be responsible for maintaining adequate safety stock levels of finished goods at multiple warehouse locations. In addition to this, the Deployment Planner will also be responsible for effectively interacting and communicating with a multitude of internal and external customers. This position requires an individual who has excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to multi-task, be organized, and work in a fast paced environment. It is expected that this individual will make a quick impact to the day-to-day demands and changes of the Planning Department. Essential Job Functions:
--- Review and issue transfer requirements to fulfill safety time based on forecasted demand.
--- Efficiently handle urgent problems or issues that may arise, and provide resolution.
--- Effectively interact and communicate with a multitude of internal customers including Customer Service, Transportation, and Inventory Control.
--- Effectively interact and communicate with a multitude of external customers including Carriers and Warehouse facilities.
--- Ensure daily KPI report is reviewed and updated.
--- Assist in developing and implementing deployment goals and make recommendations to management to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
--- Other duties as assigned by Director of Planning. Position Requirements:
--- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
--- Proficient in Excel.
--- Must be able to work well in a group setting, as well as independently.
--- Must be able to understand/identify issues, create solutions and successfully implement those solutions.
--- Superior attention to detail.
--- Positive attitude, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast paced environment.
--- Excellent multi-tasking, problem solving and organizational skills.
--- SAP experience preferred.
