Job Description:
Responsibilities Reporting to the Director of ICU, the
Telesitter is responsible to provide continuous remote monitoring
and observation of assigned patients. Responsible for verbally
redirecting the patient from engaging in at-risk behaviors and
summoning the nursing staff if the patient requires assistance.
Qualifications EDUCATION/TRAINING/ EXPERIENCE: Completion of an
accredited EMT, CNA,-OR- Currently enrolled in RN program with
successful completion of 2 semesters of clinical coursework. Six
(6) months experience in an acute care setting working as a CNA, or
EMT preferred. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES: Current EMT, CNA or Medical
Assistant required -OR- Currently enrolled in RN program with
successful completion of 2 semesters of clinical coursework.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American
Heart Association or American Red Cross required Crisis Prevention
and Intervention (CPI) certification required within 90 days of
hire
