Their work results in measurable improvements in user experiences throughout the IDIQ ecosystem. They have a deep understanding of human-centered design and UX practices.--Partner with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define great experiences from initial concept through successful implementationVisualize and prototype intended solutions at various levels of fidelity, from high-level wireframes or mock-ups to conceptual presentations to highly technical documents and diagramsWork on a of range of projects, from vague to well-defined, simple to complex, implementation to innovation and drive them from concept to conclusionCommunicate ideas, solutions, and designs through appropriate documentation and artifactsFamiliarity with user research methodsUse analytics and data to inform or drive design decisions for outcomes that engage customersPerform other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to timeCollaborate with engineering resources based both locally and offshore, participate in meetings that align with offshore hours (8-10pm or 6-8 am) as needed to ensure delivery of assigned objectivesQualifications 4+ years UX / Interaction Design experienceBachelors Degree or equivalentStrong portfolio showing examples of complex design solutions highlighting your end-to-end design process from concept including (but not limited to): research, user flows, IA, and journey mapping through development ready hand-off files.Preferred Experience and Skill:Ability to clearly articulate design decisions and the rationale behind themAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively within cross-disciplinary teamsUnderstanding of an agile/scrum development processAbility and interest in mentoring junior team membersProficiency with current design and collaboration tools (Figma, Miro, etc.)Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with the ability to work closely with engineers to implement designsBonus: Expanded interest in design research, motion graphics, data visualizationAdditional Information Position Details:--This is a full-time salaried position (40+ hours/week).--Benefits and Perks:--IDIQ makes available comprehensive benefits including 100% employee medical options, 50% dental and vision (for employee only, dependent coverage available).
