Job Description:
A company is looking for an Intake Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Enter referrals accurately and within established timeframes while
meeting productivity and quality standards
Communicate with referral sources and patients regarding
documentation and financial responsibilities
Collaborate with local branch leadership and sales teams to ensure
compliance and facilitate the referral process
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma
One (1) year of relevant experience in healthcare administration,
financial services, or insurance customer service
Experience in a Medicare certified HME, IV, or HH environment is
preferred
Proficient in using multiple online EMR systems
Knowledge of payer guidelines and clinical documentation
standards
