A company is looking for a Workers' Compensation Adjuster
II.
Key Responsibilities
Handles workers' compensation claims, conducting investigations and
determining compensability
Establishes contact with policyholders, claimants, and medical
providers to evaluate and resolve coverage questions
Negotiates settlements and coordinates activities with
rehabilitation specialists and vendors
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree
preferred
Five years of previous workers' compensation claims handling
experience required
Strong working knowledge of applicable state laws and medical bill
processing required
Successful completion of AIC37, AIC44, and medical interpretation
courses preferred
Valid driver's license required
