A company is looking for a Z Hardware & Software Technical
Systems and Solution Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, customize, and support software components on
the IBM Z platform
Debug system software issues using specialized tools to identify
failures
Collaborate with software vendors to resolve configuration errors
and product-related issues
Required Qualifications
10+ years of engineering experience with IBM Z Mainframe
systems
Proficiency in z/System Hardware and z/OS Operating System
Experience with HMC, IOCP/HCD, System & User Catalogs, and WLM
Knowledge of Parallel Sysplex and performance tuning techniques
Background in management, monitoring, and automation of system
operations
