Job Description:

Volt is immediately hiring for a Maintenance Operations and Supply Chain Coordinator in Ontario, CA.

As a Maintenance Operations and Supply Chain Coordinator, you will:

MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) Responsibilities:
Lead all MRO procurement activities, including sourcing, purchasing, and vendor coordination.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers in alignment with budget goals.
Oversee all MRO purchasing activities, including inventory management and vendor relations.
Track purchase orders, deliveries, and inventory transactions in the ERP or inventory management system.
Review inventory levels and generate purchase orders for MRO supplies and repair parts.
Confirm order status with vendors and proactively resolve issues with delayed or incorrect shipments.
Input receipts of goods into the inventory system and match them against purchase orders.
Conduct physical inventory audits to ensure system accuracy and reconcile discrepancies.
Analyze purchasing data and generate spending reports for review.
Review and refine vendor agreements, pricing, and stocking programs.
Generate reports on parts usage, cost trends, and equipment maintenance readiness.
Assist with software improvements or system upgrades related to inventory or maintenance tracking.
Participate in vendor performance reviews and sourcing assessments.

Maintenance (PM/CM Coordination) Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain comprehensive Preventive and Corrective Maintenance programs.
Review PM work orders with scheduling.
Allocate appropriate resources and labor for maintenance tasks.
Assign and dispatch maintenance personnel for scheduled PM tasks.
Monitor ongoing maintenance work to ensure strict compliance with procedures and timelines.
Input completed work orders and updates into the tracking system.
Record and issue work orders for corrective maintenance tasks.
Maintain detailed equipment records, including contracts, warranties, and maintenance history.
Monitor and analyze equipment performance and downtime, generating reports on repair trends and costs.
Generate and distribute maintenance completion and performance reports.
Review and revise PM task lists for ongoing effectiveness and equipment needs.
Train maintenance staff and machine operators in PM procedures and tasks.
Conduct meetings with plant teams to assess PM performance.
Coordinate maintenance activities seamlessly with Production Scheduling and Client Services.
Support maintenance staff with PM scheduling and coordination during high-demand periods.
Provide input for long-term maintenance and capital planning initiatives.

This is a full time, Direct Hire opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have:
5+ years of relevant experience in a packaging or industrial production environment is strongly preferred.
Prior experience with corrugated converting equipment is a significant advantage.
Minimum of 4 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting, with a strong preference for backgrounds in the corrugated packaging industry.
Strong working knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical controls, and PLC troubleshooting.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Detail-oriented with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
Ability to lead cross-functional coordination between Maintenance, Production, and Procurement teams
High school diploma or GED required.
Technical certification or vocational training in industrial maintenance, electromechanics, or a related field preferred.

Salary: $60,000 - $83,000 per year
