Job Description:
A packer is an entry level position responsible for accurately
and efficiently packing client merchandise for shipping. A person
in this position must be detail oriented and is accountable for
meeting minimum performance expectations. Performance includes, but
is not limited to; packing efficiency, organizational behavior, and
quality assurance. A packer is expected to exhibit a positive and
team-oriented attitude at all times and may be responsible for
other duties as assigned. Following safety protocol is critical to
this position.
Responsibilities: - Packing orders - Keep area neat and clean -
Load outgoing trucks - Ability to operate machinery (pack stations,
hand-held scanners, mobile devices, pallet jacks, etc.) - Replenish
supplies Requirements: - Continuously standing on concrete -
Lifting up to 50 lbs - Lifting, kneel, reaching above and below,
carrying, bending, pushing, puling, stooping, standing, twisting,
climbing, grasping
