Accounting Supervisor

Global Manufacturing Company:

Accounting Supervisor, AP, AR, Purchase Orders, Vendor reconciliation, month end closing, accounting for Manufacturing

Must be self-driven, open to new software processes

Account Payable

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Invoice processing: code, validate, reconcile and process vendor invoices
  
• Process check requests and other payment requests
  
• Duty payment processing to US Customs
  
• Vendor check disbursements processing: Ensure timely invoice processing for vendor payments, schedule invoice payments
  
• Reconcile vendor statements, correct discrepancies, and respond to vendor inquiries
  
• Monthly bank reconciliations and journal entries
  
• A/P adjustments
  
• Assist in month end closing
  
• Accounts Receivable
  
• Prepare daily deposit for check payment received
  
• Post and record payments, invoices, and credit memos to the A/R sub-ledger and General Ledger
  
• Monitor customer account A/R aging
  
• Assist in the collection of past due accounts
  
• Prepare monthly customer A/R statements, weekly past due reports and analysis for management
  
• Assist in month end closing
  Required Skills
  
  • Accounting degree/certificate preferred
    
  • 4-6 years Accounts payable job experience, 4-6 years Accounts Receivable, Bank reconciliation
    
  • Microsoft Excel- Intermediate or better skill set
    
  • Problem solving abilities
    
  • Attention to detail and accurate with numbers and data
    
  • Ability to work independently
    
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    
  • Intermediate level systems experience with spreadsheets, data keeping
    
  • Ability to work and interact well with the office personnel and vendors
    Job Type: Full-time
    
    Salary Range: $65k-$75K DOE
