Currently, we are searching for motivated, reliable, and professional individuals to fill the Carpet Cleaning and Restoration Technician positions in the Inland Empire area.JOB SUMMARYThe Carpet Cleaning & Restoration Technician team member is responsible for responding to scheduled or emergency service calls from clients experiencing water problems, such as, floods, water intrusion, broken pipes, or leaks. The technician will drive to residential homes or businesses to clean and maintain carpets and floors. The individual will perform pre-cleaning inspections, remove stains, and operate truck mounted extraction equipment.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Water extraction & removal of water damaged material
• Setup and monitor drying equipment
• Detailed knowledge of cleaning chemicals
• Application of antimicrobial and cleaning products
• Conduct pre-cleaning inspections
• Assist with minor restoration duties
• Carpet cleaning
• Relay carpet & pad
• Ability to move heavy furniture
• Maintaining a professional & clean work space
• Maintain proper use of personal protection equipment (PPE)
• Ability to setup containment areas
• Follow IICRC S500 & S520 protocol for water and mold restoration
• Detail oriented, reliable, & dependable (time management/punctuality)
• Follow directions from a supervisor & on-call manager
• Team player and ability to follow Crownco's Warranty 6-Step and emergency service procedures
• Perform other duties not listedQUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or GED preferred, or will accept equivalent work experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to operate industrial cleaning machines/equipment.
  • Ability to lift/push/pull over 50 lbs.
  • Minimum 1-year hands on carpet cleaning experience.
  • IICRC certified is a PLUS!
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance
  • Ability to successfully pass pre-employment drug screening & background check
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (Crownco participates in E-Verify)PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
    • Ability to work full-time in the outside elements (heat & cold)
    • Ability to climb stairs, ladders, bend, stoop, crawl, squat, reach and move 6+ hours at a time
    • Ability to lift, move, and/or carry items which may be in excess of 50 lbs.
